After seven and a half unforgettable years, we closed the doors to our Hudson taproom this past July. It was a difficult decision.  One rooted in the harsh realities facing small breweries everywhere: rising costs, industry shifts, and changing consumer habits.

But today, we’re writing a new story.

Thanks to a collaborative partnership with our friends at Lift Bridge Brewing, Co. in Stillwater, Hop & Barrel Brewing lives on. While our physical taproom may be closed, our beer, and out spirit, remain very much alive.

 

Your favorite beers are coming back. Crooked Grin, Minnesconsin, the Breaker Shandies, and even our fan-favorite Cookie Lager will be returning to shelves and draft lines throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.

 

Hop & Barrel remains its own company. Lift Bridge is brewing our beer, and we’re partnering on sales and marketing where it makes sense, all in the spirit of keeping great beer in the hands of great people.

 

Expect to find us at festivals, tap takeovers, and special events across the region. Just because we don’t have a taproom doesn’t mean we’re not pouring.

 

We’re choosing to celebrate the future while honoring the past. To our fans, staff, distributor partners, and community, we cannot thank you enough.

 

This next chapter may look different, but the mission is the same:
Brew great beer. Build strong community. Keep things awesome.
